Tradition and experience
SITNA is the result of an evolving series of factors and their respective relations that, at a particular point in time, became the beginning of a Territorial Information System. This sparked an interest in taking a look back at SITNA's background and origins.
We should consider and briefly explain the following ideas:
The accumulation of basic information and experience in its processing, the availability of technology (Tracasa), the development of procedures for the integration of information, the existence of a dynamic team in the project and the solid support of politicians are the pillars that have sustained the appearance of the SITNA.
