The SITNA showcase
Initial prototypes of SITNA website.
Although SITNA is much more than just a website, it is true that this has become the most visible part of the project and the main means of promoting it.
Aware that it would be so, from the very beginning work was started on designing a website that would give public access to SITNA's geographic information.
First SITNA website (2000)
After several prototypes that were never even published, the first SITNA website saw the light of day in September 2000, eliciting a great response from users plus remarkable coverage in the press and specialised magazines that proclaimed it as pioneering at the time.
This portal was updated over time incorporating new data, advanced functional features (greater map window, cadastral sketches, 3D, etc.) but the general look of the website remained the same.
Navarra Geoportal (2008)
In 2007 the need was approached to adapt the website to the Navarra Portal's own style and browsing and also to SITNA's new image. For this reason, the website was renewed, beyond mere aesthetics or image issues, incorporating significant improvements and new aspects and completely renewing its content offer.
On 12th December 2008, at the SITNA Session 08, the Navarra Geoportalwas presented as a new meeting point for anyone using information referring to the territory of Navarra.
